It’s no secret that practically every beauty blogger has a wish list as long as her arm. Before I was dipped by toe in the world of blogging I used to read their ‘Lust Lists,’ with vigor, a pen and paper in my hand scribbling down possible presents for Christmas, birthdays and even just random old treat days.
Now I’ve joined the ranks of the cosmetically literate I decided to pop together my own wish list so you can see exactly what I’m lusting after.
So to kick things off…
This is my all time favorite foundation. Thanks to a severe lack of funds these past few months I’ve been relying on Rimmel to give me my foundation fix, but as soon as I’m able I’ll be repurchasing. Double Wear provides the ultimate coverage and works great with my combination skin. The shade is perfect for my sallow skin tone and I can last a full eight hours without needing a touch up. Forget money, if Double Wear grew on trees I’d be one happy lady.
I’ve been lusting after this Zooeva brush set for longer than I care to remember. Everything about this brand just screams quality, and the rose gold finish on each brush screams luxury.
This kit comes with both natural hair and synthetic brushes which means they work just fine with both cream and powder based products. Plus they come packaged in that sleek and stylish clutch. What’s not to love?
3. Charlotte Tilbury – Vintage Vamp Luxury Palette. €50.00
This time last year I feel in love with Charlotte Tilbury after an impromtu visit to Brown Thomas and a hell of an impulse buying spree at her newly installed concession. Ever since then I’d had my eyes on the Vintage Vamp palette. What I love about this is that it’s compact enough to fit into a makeup bag and all four colours can so easily take you from day to night, and as Charlotte says herself “desk to disco,”
The only think that’s held me off is the price tag. €50.00 for a quad? Am I mad?
4. NARS- Velvet Matte Lip Pencil – Shade Cruella. €26.00
You’d have to be living under a rock not to know how highly regarded the lip pencil offerings from NARS are. I’m a red lips kinda girl and I’ve fallen in love with Cruella. It won’t be long before it’s in my makeup bag let me tell you!
Last but not least has to be Dolce, by Dolce and Gabanna. This perfume is scented with a feminine mix of light flowers and is the ideal summer time perfume. My mum is headed away later next month and I plan on having her pick this up for me at the airport, so I don’t have to keep shamefully spritzing myself every time I go into Debenhams.
