The prodigal blogger has returned, with excuses in tow….
Well, all I can say lads is thank the sweet baby jesus 2016 is over!
I know, you’re probably sick to your back teeth of hearing that by now.
You’re thinking to yourself “If this is another one of those posts where this one plans to go on and on about how grateful she really is for everything, despite the shitty year she just said she had, I’m done,’
I’m always saying I’m going to do that #newyears challenge where I write a note every time something good happens to me and pop it in a jar, so that next #newyearseve I can pour them all out and read them and reflect on how good a year it really was. BUT, I never do. Well this year that’s all about to change. Last night I felt so awful. I could only focus on the bad stuff that had happened this year and I completely by-passed the fact that I lost 2 stone, got my full driving license, reconnected with old friends, made awesome new ones and earned myself a diploma! This fabulous copper light piece from @primark is gonna be my new jar for the #newyearpositivity challenge. Make little changes this year and hopefully we’ll all be a little more grateful next year 💘
Now it’s explanation time for everyone that followed me here before I pulled a Houdini and disappeared last January.
Last year lovies, I bit off WAY more than I could chew.
I took up a full time digital marketing and social media course, despite working nearly full time in my current job.
I applied for my full license and of course I procrastinated the crap outta that for months and months.
I also joined Slimming World and decided I was going to be one with the healthy lifestyle and exercise thing in a big way.
I know there’s many of you out there probably laughing your arses off at me, because how much time can being healthy really take up right?
Well for me it was A LOT.
I’m a busy bee who really appreciates her down time when she gets it, so taking time to schedule exercise and meal prep was tough!
As you can imagine by poor little blog got pushed the wayside but one of my resolutions for 2017 is to spend more time here, doing what I love.
So that’s that.
Now I’ve gotten that off my chest I can get to the real business of blogging about the important stuff so keep your eyes peeled!
Happy New Year to all of you,
